    Default Ko6 or Upgrade current Ko4

    HI Guys,

    June/July time im looking at getting quite a bit of work done
    Enlarged Top Hat WITH dump valve
    Direct Route
    Remap with either

    Ko6 Turbo or
    Hybrid Billet GTX 11 Turbo CHRA Ko4-049 Z20LEH

    Now i have no idea what that hybrid billet thing is really apart from what ebay says.
    I have emailed Courtney Sport already and inquired some bits n bobs.

    My question really is am i looking at being able to get near the 300bhp mark with the hybrid thing or just go Ko6 route?

    Basically i really want my car at 300bhp even if its 301bhp i know its torque that make a difference but surely ill have a fair bit of that anyway??

    Whats best to do? i dont want to have to change everything under the bonnet to achieve this only a few bits n bobs.

    Please let me know on your thoughts if you suggest something different please explain why as i dont really know too much on upgrading turbos and such.

    you can make 300bhp off of the stock turbo, decent cooler, 3' exhaust and a map

    from what ive seen tho theyre arent many that are stage 3 over 300 bhp most r under unless its the ko6 then im seeing massive result difference.

    but courtney came back to me and said the exact same as well as giving me their prices and **** me think i better get saving lmao i got plenty of time like i said june/july time.

    am i not gna put too much strain on that turbo?
    do u know anything about that Hybrid billet thing from what i understand they have bigger blades so bigger boost??

    Stick with standard GM turbo, if you are replacing your turbo cause it’s narkered then just get a new GM one on exchange.

    Hybrid is a waste of time on standard internals, we’ve had 3 cars with cheap ‘hybrids’ just this week that have all performed worse than a standard turbo

    That's why you need to use one from a reputable distributor

    Absolutely, there are some really good hybrids out there but there also some really poor quality ones as well unfortunately

    so what do people suggest then? but like i said i dont wna start changing too much in the engine....tbh what Craig552 said is what i wud like to change the intercooler , stock turbo 3" exhaust and remap but all i seem to c is under 300bhp.

    So what is the billet thing for the Ko4 sounds like some sort of upgrade?

    if you don't cheap out on your cooler and go 3' exhaust system you'll get 300bhp from most tuners. providing everything is working right and good fuel

    na im not going to mate ill go airtec.....ads what is aet??
    is remus good for this for? or does anybody know of any other exhausts that rasps like the remus as i dont want a cobra its just a bit too deep from what ive heard.

    i want i MEGA loud tho
