    Default Help needed big problems

Hi, can anyone help with this?

Took my Vxr for a drive late last Friday night, the roads were quiet so decided to stretch its legs. Whilst going through the gears now at around max revs suddenly all power dropped and the EML light was flashing and the car was now misfiring on two cylinders - there was no bang or noises when this happened. Luckily my house was only a minute away so I managed to get it there before it cut out. Opened the bonnet to be greeted by the front area of the engine covered in oil.

Took one of the hoses of to check the pipe work for signs of the turbo having gone and all is bone dry. There was also no oil in with the spark plugs.

Did the pedal test and the codes for a misfire on 1 & 3 came up so removed all spark plugs and on cylinder 3 the electrode was missing.

Went back to check the oil level the next day and it was still pretty much full so I don’t think any more has been lost since driving it.

Going to compression test it later today but for now can anyone take a guess on where the oil has come from and what has happened?

turbo oil return pipe maybe as these are prone to split and piss oil all over.

Electrode dropped into the piston? May have bore damage or piston damage if so. get a scope in and have a look in the bore

Check the front breather pipe if theres a split
Coz some ppl tightens it to much and splits
Check around the rocker cover for gasket leaks
    Check around the head aswell
It could be the turbo oil return valve
And if you are missing a electrode might of damaged the bore and most probably gone through exhaust and stuck in the cat
