I've seen the Instagram clip, great rattle, it sounds like a diesel ! Does that go away when your driving?

Update for all that are interested. Clutch and SMF is installed.

Initial impressions: Clutch feels awesome under the foot. Itís a lot heavier than standard but itís positive. Iíve always preferred the more heavy clutch pedal. Engine revs significantly quicker thanks to the SMF. Clutch feels much more direct and really enjoying driving it.

The downside is the noise. SMF are notorious for creating gear chatter. This is noticeable with the clutch out at idle, acceleration and deceleration. This may concern some people but to me I knew it would be the case. I choose to embrace it as the benefits outweigh the downsides and it sounds like a race box! Haha!

Hereís some photos of the installation.

It certainly sounds like a diesel at idle. Wouldn't be too far astray from saying it sounds like a cement mixer with rocks in it! As recommended by warren, upping the engine idle speed from a tuner to 950-1000RPM will quieten down the idle noise.

The rattle goes away but you get gear rollover, this is very noticeable when accelerating in the lower RPM's and on deceleration. It's very hard to explain the sound through text.

At least you were able to fit it all yourself - good work.

You say the clutch is a lot heavy under foot did you preloaded the clutch when fitting it or did you bolt it straight up

This kit does not require preload as per Warren at WGM.

Glad to hear it mate. Yeah mine is compromised in the sound department, but it doesn't bother me. I love the response.
