Default Ids + light on and no faults when read

    Hi all
I had all the ecuís read on the car to find out why my IDS+ light is on all the time and no fault at all came up so a I rite in thinking someone before me has deleted the IDS software?
If thatís the case whatís my option? Donít get me wrong it handles well but after a year itís getting annoying .

    Cheers James

You turn it off not delete.
I.E. into appropriate ecuís and change settings to remove ids.
If someone has replaced shocks to other than ids the light would be on if they didnít turn the ids off.

It still has all the plugs connected to the struts and looks original ? Not sure was in a snap on case that hooked over the steering then could pick what Car malefactor then he said it would read every ecu in the car and tell you all the faults but nothing come up regarding Suspension.

Iíd try a different reader even the cheap oc would give you a look into it. I take it the light hasnít gone off after he read the system or Iím taking he didnít clear faults.
Two things to try until you can get some better software,
Take battery off for 20 minutes to clear ecuís.
If it returns check the plugs to the shocks unplug and replace in the right holes also you should have a little black box attached to front shocks which is rough road sensor unplug and replace this as being part of ids it does bring the light on.

Someone had a similar problem with the light the code pointed to the rough road sensor, it hadnít been plugged in right.
