    Default Buying a Corsa VXR

    Hi everyone, come Feb/March time I知 hopefully going to be buying a Corsa D VXR. I知 hoping to get one with max 60K miles and I知 looking to spend 」5500 tops. I was wondering if people could tell me what to look out for when buying one. I知 aware of the piston 4 issue, I知 guessing it痴 obvious to tell? It would run lumpy? I知 also aware of arch and bonnet rust, is there anything else I should look for? Also what are the differences between the pre-face lift and facelift other than the visuals of the exterior. Thank you in advance.

    I知 also aware that the M32 gearbox can also have problems

    Pre facelift to facelift is the headlights and front grille had changed.

    I think later models come with a better gearbox aswell.

    Just general checks is what you need to do, plus gearbox is noticeable by the gearstick moving in 1st.

    P4 isnt as common as its made out to be but if the car has this issue then you will notice it, very lumpy idle, car wont start.............etc etc.

    rear dampers are known to fail so check for leaks/signs of dampness around them
