    Default Urgent help required

Tonight driving home sensibly at 60mph 2k revs and bang all power went tc light on eml on tried pedal test and it came up with the following 42011, 160639

I know 42011 is cat efficiency but I cannot find what the other one is anywhere.
I turned power off and turned engine back on and all power back still a little hesitant around 2k revs as if it’s holding back for a split second, but the eml is still on but tc has gone off.

Can anyone please help me with this thank you

Sounds like exactly what happened when my first maf blew, but you've just replaced that :/

Have you checked the coilpack for any damage?

Not had a chance I’ve literally just got back at 12. Don’t suppose you know what that 160639 code is I couldn’t find anything anywhere oh and that code only comes up on pedal test not the obd for some reason that obd isn’t bringing anything up code wise

Well its obviously had a wobbly gone into limp mode. You'll first need to check all the ignition equipment again and go from there. It's highly unlikely to be anything serious. I'd be looking to get that oe coilpack in as soon as you can.

Check the plugs too. What did you say were the plugs again?

It's generally always fancy speak for "a particular electronic sensor can't read summet". but it uses big enough words to convince people to panic and visit a dealer .....

I'm confident if you have oe plugs, coil, maf, 1st lambda all working there will be no issues.

coil is the last piece. Really can't see what else would cause this. It's always the engine panicking if a sensor can't read what it wants to properly

Cool cheers. Lamda might be next thing, just found something about someone had similar problem and their garage changed vacuum pipes and it worked could it be possible that one is split but not hanging off as I’ve checked 4/5 times for dangling pipe but they were all connected
