    Default P0234

Had this 3 times now. Sure I had this on the old car. Does this point to BCS? I have just changed mine with a known working one but that could be goosed. I do have a brand new one so Iíll swap that out.

Reading about that code it could be BCS, a loose or broken pipe, actuator, recirc valve or MAP sensor.

Anyone go firm in a possible cause?

Car is proper breaking me now.

But surely that wouldnít put the car into limp mode?

Today Iíve replaced the BCS with a brand new one. Replaced the pipes for silicone ones. Changed the recirc valve and cleaned map and maf sensors

Spike said it was positive deviation which to my reply was the same as the thread so could be underboosting then for whatever reason. Same he’s a few miles away otherwise could try and help out as sometimes another pair of eyes sees something you miss.

    As positive/inlet side.
I know people say the pipes which is a known problem , the switch is first to change out, if act & bcs changed hoses changed to silicon.
The deisels clog turbo and wastegate from egv which shouldnít happen on these !!!
Only other part is manifold gaskets.

Hope not. Itís fine if I keep out the 3-3.5k Rev range. Itís got some poke thatís for sure.

Changed BCS (brand new), changed recirc valve for a known working one. Changed over some hoses and replaced the throttle body to intake hose as itís seen better days. Next Iíll swap out the actuator but canít remember how to do it.
