I actually might order the right ones. Is it a nut and bolt or an actual screw?

    Torx screw mate.

Get on the blower to autovaux and get a few ordered. They're used in pretty much all the panel screws inside and out.

Good advice mate, ordered the screws and inserts from Autovaux, never heard of them actually & they were really helpful. Will be using them in the future.

Going to remove the boot strip and finally get the griffen off too this weekend. And the search for a VXR rear bumper is underway...

    GRIFFEN REMOVED

Got the tailgate badge off today, went much easier than I imagined.
Used the heat gun and tooth floss method.
    Big improvement IMO.

    Micro Update..

Fitted the fogs using the genuine Vauxhall fixings as recommended. Definitely the way to go.

    Part Numbers

    Red plastic insert - 24449408 x 4
    T20 torx screws - 90561305 x 4
Harnesses adapter (required for converting from non VXR to VXR lamps) - 9270158

I'll get the bumper & grille fitted as soon as we get a day above freezing point, my dads going to give me a hand with it. (In other words I'll pass him the tools lol) He's sorted out all the paintwork at an unbelievably cheap price at the bodyshop where he works so I owe him one.
Looking forward to getting the front end done.

Also fitting a new o/s headlamp as I hit a deer a while back & broke 2 of the retaining points.

    17" MOMO ARROWS

I'm looking for alloys just now. Definitely decided on 17"s for a couple of reasons.

Would like something a little different. Seriously tempted by these which are for sale, bit old school but I like that!

My question is do Audi wheels fit our cars or is it more complicated?

    Again, grateful for any info.

I think 17's look a bit lost on these cars, especially with vxr bumpers etc.

Hmm..maybe right enough. Would definitely lower it and maybe consider spacers. Difficult until its actually done to know how that would look.

I personally think 18's can also look small. Then again I'm used to 19's so maybe that's just me.

Fitted the slimline number plate today. I like it but think I went a little too small with it. I know any non standard plate is illegal but some are asking to be pulled over. I'll leave it on anyway & see.
