    Default MW Performance??

    Good evening all,

Has anyone used this company for there J yet?

Only reason I've been looking at using them is because I have a bluefin device so would of liked to use it and this company have developed the stage 2 onwards maps for superchips.
Spoke to them today and there stage one is K/N panel filter and remap... Stage 2 is the secondary cat changed.

Will the panel filter be any good.. And is it worth doing?
Or should I just get the parts I want and then take it to get remapped properly on a dyno by a reputable company?

Because I'd like to use one of the intakes with big cone just to enhance the induction noise abit more.

Would it be worth doing the front pipe?
Apart from abit more power what else will I gain? Pops and cracks from exhaust? Abit more exhaust noise?

Thanks for replys in advance guys
    Michael

I went stage 1, stage 1.5 and finally stage 2.

Just go straight to stage 2, the downpipe makes the turbo spool quicker and the intake makes the power much smoother than the stage 1.5

Be careful with the clutch, if you like to slip the clutch it won't last long

Haven't personally used them, but a lot of guys with the VXR8s use them and say good things.

Am I being dumb... But what's slipping the clutch?

    Just had my service,
Lovely people , clearly passionate about our cars.

Service price quoted on their website £195 for Full Astra J VXR. (Note: It does say from £195)
Had them look at my rear brake on top of that and the cost in total was £332.94 (£47.52 for rear brake work)

So I am a little confused where the extra £90.42 has appeared from. I'd use them again but I'd get a quote first !

Did you not ask them before paying the invoice?
Wouldn't be happy with an extra £100 being added on !!

Got to be honest, wasn't paying all that much attention when I paid..

On further inspection of the website I think the tick marks on the website maybe actually mean they're checked but maybe not included in the price if they need replacing?
