105k miles is not a lot for a 2.8L V6, sounds like the oil pressure switch.

How many miles between oil changes and what sort of oil do you use, what colour was the oil the last time it was changed.

I change my oil every 7k miles and only use C3 5w-30LS Fully Synthetic Low Saps.

Every 9000-10000 kilometers. I use GM Dexos 5w-30.
Still unknown. The mechanic said he couldn't find the oil sensor as of today. Do you have any photos or schematics?

    I just changed mine today,

It's on the front of the engine above the a/c pump. Easiest way to do it is to remove the hard plastic boost pipe from the intake to the front and then the other hard pipe which this joins onto which goes down the front of the engine down to the bottom of the rad. If you are lucky you can then get it with a 27mm spanner.

It is awkward but it's not impossible.
