Default Noise from drivers side dash

    Hi guys,

So yesterday just as I let off the accelerator and started to brake for the slip road there was a strange noise that sounded like it was coming from behind the dash to the right of the steering wheel.
This noise can be described like when you have two dash panels rubbing against each other and I'm sure there was a bit of vibration through the wheel.

I can't remember if I hit a pot hole and haven't yet checked the wheels for their weights.

What is in the dash behind the air flow thing?
This noise isn't constant but definitely just started yesterday.
I think I'll try and get a video.

    Any thoughts tho?

Default Noise from drivers side dash

A little update on this, it's been twice to Evans halshaw. First time they replaced the interior a pillar tri, that failed.
So on Monday just past they took it in for the week and took the dash out, said they found a module lose. So tightened it and said that should be it done.

Noise is at and above motor cruising speed, so would be bad on a track.

    Anyone have an idea?
Today I've took the vent cover off, the speaker cover off and the side panel where airbag turn off is and took it for a drive and it didn't rattle but I think it might just be luck as I sounds like it's coming from behind the vent.

    Any help would be great.

Ok,,I have a video but don't know how to upload it.
    Sorry

Does it sound like a squeal of some sort? .. From what you've described, I think it might be the suspension bushes.. can usually be heard from the inside and sounds like it's coming from the dash

Yeah I've tried both, there is no copy function....
There is duplicate which does as it says but nothing to copy.

    That’s all that is there,
Looking at it I think you can copy a picture but not a video.
