Question help with front bumper fixings

Hey everyone, need a little help again.

I'm in the process of replacing my front bumper and have just finished taking off the old one, which to my surprise instead of being held on with the t20 screws and little fastener things for them to screw into, it was held on by wood screws in the wheel arches! And all the cracks in the bumper that i thought had been caused by people hitting it in car parks where actually due to the extremely poor "repairs" done to it in the past, "repairs" like just using half a tube of evo stick to hold a metal plate on the underside of a crack.

So i'm trying to find out where i can get some more of the t20 screws and the little fasteners, i think they're called EJOY easy fasteners after some googling, but i can't seem to find anywhere that sells them on either google, ebay, eurocarparts or amazon. The closes i've come is some on ebay that i think were the wrong size and came from Germany.

Anyone got any tips of where i can get the fasteners the screws go into and the screws themselves? As i really don't want to have to use wood screws to fit my new bumper! thanks in advance as i know someone on here will know exactly were and how to fix this

these are the things i'm talking about.

ah ok, do you know if they have part numbers or a proper name so i can order them over the phone? as my local dealer is a good 30 min drive so i'd rather order them or at least check they've got them before i drive over. i'm hopping they'll be the first part for my car that won't be too pricy.

Give autovaux a ring mate. They can get any genuine gm factory fittings, screws, engine parts, you name it. If you have part numbers it helps but they can find it all out for you and bring up diagrams on their computer of the bumper and fixing layouts.

ok cool, now to google autovaux lol. Just curious if there was a name for them as sound like a bit of a numpty trying to explain what they are haha.

Is autovaux an online thing or do they have places i could go to collect the parts as ideally i want them asap so i can get my car back together

They have a warehouse mate. They've just moved from 5 minutes Down the road from me to 10 minutes down the road from me lol

Now based in dewsbury. They moved because the warehouse they now have is bigger. Anything they haven't got in stock they'll order in. You can pick it up or deliver whichever best for you.

Just literally ring and say you're after some bumper fixings and screws. They'll take your reg number and be able to seek them out for you. They've even emailed diagrams before to confirm the parts are correct.

just found the autovaux website and currently searching through parts, i've noticed they do the guide rails, one of which on mine has broken where the headlight attaches and the other is broken where the bumper attaches so i was thinking of replacing them as they're only £6 each, but the ones on the car appear to be riveted on, i know that you drill rivets to remove them but is it easy to reattach the new part? these are the parts i mean https://www.autovaux.co.uk/13179961-...o-s-as13179961

Yes mate I replaced both mine because the tabs at the front had snapped off and the bumper hung down slightly. I just used a nuts and bolts to reattach them mate. Just in case they ever need replacing again.
