Personally wouldn't touch the kit in the second link mate, the kit in the first link looks to be genuine stuff. I'd rather pay more and know you're getting proper kit.

Price is a little high for a UK supplied kit , when Nick 150 did my chains I think the kit was about £800 about a year ago, but the kit came from America and was made from better materials than the original and should last a lot longer.

My chains were replaced on 96k.

I got Nick to purchase mine from his GM contacts in the USA. I did also buy a new oil pump too. I think it was in the region of £900-950. There was a FedEx customs charge of about £100 in that total too.

I did receive delivery notes for the parts, so this contains all part numbers and descriptions for the later 2007 on cars. I could dig this out. I had to replace head stretch bolts too as the heads were replaced due to damage in one (piston/valve contact)

My total bill including chain kit, service parts, replacement heads, plugs, air con regas and labour was around £1850. This is actually a good price for what I needed to be done, labour was only £450 for cash.

Ran 287.7bhp at MWP straight after this work was done, prior to being remapped so engine now very healthy.
