    Default Brake pad choice

    Hi Folks
    Thinking of changing/upgrading my brake pads(fronts and rears)
    Now I'm thinking Ebc yellow stuff or red stuff anyone used them? what are people's opinions on these??
    Any other recomendations??

    Don't bother mate. Pointless and even will probably make your braking worse. Stick to oe or maybe a set of brembo pads.

    Matt. I've got the Yellow stuff on mine, had them on my last one too. Only reason I've got them now is they hadn't long been fitted to the car when I bought it.

    They aren't bad when you get some temperature into them but pretty poor from cold.

    Also, dusty AF

    If you want to get a decent pad then have a look at Ferodo DS2500 as everyone seems to love them or as above. Brembo pads along with some braided lines and ATE TYP200 fluid

    Ry I'm going to do braided lines and new brake fluid as mine looks shot from doing some looking I've decided to use the ATE TYP200 fluid like you suggest
    Where is the best place to get Brembo pads from??

    Ferodo ds2500 are a small mortgage. Not many people realise oe pads are ferodos (they say it on them) anyway.

    Ferodo ds2500 These are the best pads ive had on a standard setup however if you dont have the money the OE pads are good enough for most people on the roads

    Euro car parts have 50% off brake discs and pads at the min. I got brembos and pagid ones.

    Your not wrong they are a fair price but I suppose as the saying goes you get what you pay for
