    Default Header Tank Pipes

I need to replace the two water pipes coming from the Header Tank, one of the pipes are GM 12842477 and the other is GM12 842 ???

They both reduce from 12mm to about 8mm.

Firstly, does anyone know the last 3 digits of the pipe above and secondly does anyone know where I can find Red Pipes to replace these pipes

Thanks Jon, but that's the old pipe that is the same diameter both ends, I spoke to VX yesterday and the guy I spoke to in the stores was very helpful, the Part No. of the second hose was GM12 842 478, should have guessed that really from the first hose, I managed to find them for £16 the pair

I was told by VX that they had problems with the early header tank and replaced it along with the two hoses and the part numbers I gave are for the later header tank hoses.

You have to be a walking encyclopedia to keep up with all the changes that VX have made on the Vectra C over the years

Jon, do you have a parts diagram showing the front exhaust rubber mounting, think it looks like a figure of 8, mine is very stretchy and allows the exhaust to move on bumpy roads making a creaking noise.
