    Default Anyone know what these are for?

    From the rarb fitting kit, but I couldn't see any of these on the rarbs old fitting kit I've just removed .....

    My guess would be they clamp around the ARB next to the mounts to stop lateral movement. But it is just a guess.

    Yeah maybe. Well I guess at least I know it can't be structurally vital or it'd have been on the old one.

    This, I never fitted mine bit of a gimmick you do not have to fit them.

    If there's any possibility of lateral movement in the ARB I'd fit the clamps. As it moves it would introduce a bending force into the end of the bar as well as the normal twisting force changing its effective rate, this would lead to inconsistent performance as the bar shuttles back and forth. The magnitude of the change and if you'd notice i don't know, but just knowing it could happen would annoy me.

    They are to stop the Lateral movement on the ARB. They used to be sold as an Optional Extra back in the day..

    I had those fitted on my old one. Unsure about the current one. Stops the bar sliding

    I actually ended up fitting these when the bar went back on yesterday. Doubt I'll feel a difference though.
