    Looking at my car again it is directly underneath the clutch pipe, is that a connector in your second photo?

    Yes mate it seems it could be disconnected but no idea if that's it, is that my clutch pipe next to it ?

    Looks like it to me mate, without actually looking at the car I couldn't 100% confirm it though. If that is a loose connector that could be the problem, the actual switch should be further down, below where the clutch pipe is.

    I should have made an arrow rather than a line, the top of the yellow line is where the switch is

    thankyou for taking the time to post that pic i think ive found it , its behind a a pipe that im guessing id have to take off , i can move the pipe abit with my hand



    does that white clip just unclip mate ? or does the whole nut come out ?

    You can unclip the sensor connector, pull the white tab back and it should allow you to pull the connector off

    Ok unclip sensor connector then replace the part with nut and see if light starts working the nut gonna be tricky to get off without removing pipe but I'll give a go, just gotta buy part first

    I would bridge the sensor connector first, get a bit of wire and join the 2 pins of the connector together and then see if the reverse light works. If it still doesn't work then in theory the switch should be okay

    Ok bridge... turn ignition on then hope it comes on as then that confirms I need this part.
