Default After Advise - New alloys coming

    Hi Guys,

After two of my alloys have corroded i have taken the plundge and brought a new set of alloys, these are MSW 25 in 17"

    https://www.wheelbasealloys.com/allo...r/2007-present

My question is their PCD is 5x108 and the webiste say these will fit but my understanding is the VXR's pcd is 5x100.

Will i simply need wobble bolts?

You're getting confused between 4 and 5 stud.

    VX 4 stud is 4x100
VX 5 stud is 5x108 (except modern crap like the Astra J/Insignia)

So they will fit fine with normal bolts

They will fit because wheelbase provide wobble bolts that enable the offset to step.

I've got a set of MSW's on mine (MSW 85's) and have been running them for just over 2 years. The wobble bolts have been fine and I just check them with a torque wrench every time i check tyre pressures.

One thing i will say; Spend a couple of quid on getting some wobble locking wheel nuts and a longer socket; Locking wheel nuts i got off ebay were "Wobble Locking Wheel Bolts M12x1.5mm 26mm Thread Length 60 Degree" and £12, socket was "Sealey Alloy Wheel Chrome Molybdenum Impact Socket 17mm 1/2"Sq Drive - SX03017" ~£8.
