    No I only had time to quickly do it drivers side, because that’s where the noise sounds like it’s coming from, but I’ll give the passenger side a shake in the morning too

    Got it in to local garage for tomorrow, from what I described they’re reckoning it’s most likely a spring that’s on it’s way out, guess I’ll find out tomorrow though

    Could well be. Did you look up at it to see if you can spot a broken spring?

    No unfortunately I now live 15 minute walk away from where I have to park my car -.- so I’ll have a look before I take it in tomorrow morning! Thanks for all your help by the way mate

    The garage have just gotten back to me, apparently I need two new front shock absorbers, they’ve quoted me at £309, does this sound reasonable....?

    Inc. Labour?

    Would you not be tempted to go for a new set of coilovers since you need 2 new front shocks?

    Assuming they intend to use genuine VX? If you didn't mind the wait, they come in at about £222 if yours aren't IDS type;

    Maybe up to 2.5 hours of labour depending on rust...

    Doesn't sound too bad, depending on how the job goes and parts used.
