Personally i'd say Don't bother mate. At best get some braided lines if yours are old and stick to oe pads and discs.

Every "upgrade" I've experienced with grooved discs etc made brakes feel less responsive. The standard brake pads are made by ferodo so they're good stuff.

The only real upgrade is bigger discs and calipers.

A full bleed of the brake fluid can make all the difference to the feel of the pedal also. Ideally it should be bled every 2 years/with a change of pads.
Along with the brake fluid, bleed the clutch line as that also holds moisture laden brake fluid coming from the master cylinder.

How do you find the brakes at the moment?

I'd love to give my front brakes a good bleed. But I don't trust those bleed valves and the p155 soft metal of the calipers around them.

They are ok to be honest I might just put oe back on need doing though because on the backs the pad isn’t using all the disc and might just do braided hoses.

    Cheers guys

Rust remover overnight directed at the thread, dry the hex in the morning, good socket head over the bleeder with a hammer ready to smack the wrench end to shock it open. Well worth a try even on the hub. Worst case scenario; vice grips and blow torch.

Chances are you won't need the blow torch.
Rubber lines can be shielded with aluminium foil plus some insulator

    These are on my wishlist:

I will be sticking with normal pads and discs - although saying that i might be tempted to try a different brake pads for less dust! I'm planning on flushing my brake fluid soon - bleed nipples are a worry, but with plenty of plus gas and gentle taps of the hammer they should come out ok.
