Default Reasons for headlight constantly blowing?

Hi guys, just wondered if anyone has any input into why my headlight bulb keeps blowing, it's always the same side - the passengers side. I used the same bulbs in each side. In 6 months I've changed passenger side 3 times but in drivers side not once. The bulbs have blown with the standard yellow and the more recent white.

Anyone any experience with this happening to them?

    Thanks

Maybe a dodgy wire causing a power surge?

How are the bulb connections on that side? Any trace of looseness/corrosion?

Can maybe try electrical cleaner on the connections see if that helps.

I'm gonna try and have a look tonight, on some occasions when I thought the bulb had gone it then came back on a day or two later by itself ?? Would this narrow possibilities down? this happened when first got car, now just seems to blow instead of coming back on

That would indicate issues with the connection so I'd say even more reason to clean the connections and see what happens.

Not just to clean the connections (if necessary), but make sure the spring mechanism that keeps the bulb firmly in place within the holder is working.
If the spring metal were flattened, or forming a loose connection, the contact with the bulb may be broken causing the intermittent working you described, or if the contact is close, but not touching, you'll get an arcing condition that's likely to blow bulbs.
