    Default Driveshafts and CV joints

I am in the process of building an Astra J VXR as a tarmac stage rally car and have heard a number of things about driveshafts and cv joints. What experiences do you all have with either of these when driven in anger, particularly when tuned in excess of standard? If either are subject to failure, is it the launches that do it, or powering out of tight corners with large amounts of lock? Are there upgraded items available?
    Thanks in advance.

I would also look at the oil and oil starvation

When Regal took their modified car around the track did massive damage to the engine when running standard oil pan due to oil starvation

Thanks. Previous rally car had baffled sump so certainly one to look for.
Still trying to get a handle on driveshafts though. Seems to be some mixed comments on how the standard items will hold up.
