    Default My black VXR

Thought Iíd do a thread. Bought about a month ago. 98k on the clock. More or less full service history.

Has a full 2.5Ē system. Total decat. Which is putting my engine light on so Iíll be fitting a cat. (I know I can get it mapped out but Iíll still have the issue of getting it motíd and I cba to keep having to swap a system over each year plus there wonít be any benefit imo to having a cat fitted on a standard car-not noticeable anyway)

Iíve fitted a recirc valve to cure the turkey sound and modded a cdti airbox myself and fitted it.

Has a slight oil leak from the rocker which needs sorting. And yesterday I tried changing the droplinks but theyíre well stuck. Couldnít get them off so looks like Iíll be cutting them off!
    Any way some pics

Just torque the rocker bolts correctly after gasket replacement to stop it happening again.

Good shout. Iíd imagine people do it too tight and it squashes the gasket

Can ruin the threads too. Torque to 8nm max in the correct order.
