Default Change of tyres. What size are you running

    Hi,
Been a long time posting on here.
Treated me and the wife to a 13plate j vxr few month ago. Absolutely love it, maybe not the wisest choice when baby number 3 just came too 😬.
    Anyway.....

I’m looking at changing the 2 rear tyres. Currently have 245/35/20. Is that the stock size as seen someone with 255/35/20
Wondering if I have the wrong size myself or they have wrong size.

Stock tyres are 245/35/20. Do the 255’s look odd on the wheel? If not I wouldn’t worry about it but when you change them revert back to stock size. Maybe the previous owner was trying to be clever and have a bit of a bulging tyre to save the wheels from the kerb

I seen it online. Also seen a few using 245/40/20.
Obviously the 40 is just a thicker profile.
I was confused why some using a255.

255 gives improved grip and kerb protection is better then 245 pal , stick with them , I would

I currently have 245/35/20 but wasn’t sure if they’re correct as seen one with 255’s and another with 245/40/20
I need 2 rear tyres so looking what’s best. Stick to the 245/35 or change
