Forgot to mention --- major wear on fronts are always on the inside edges - check with full strip down or an initial feel with the fingers ......

I have a brand new set of gm oe pads in the garage ready to swap for my textar oem replacements. I often get tempted to swap them now but there still a good half the pad left on them textar so would be quite a waste.

I've always wanted to try ceramic pads for dust reasons... Need warmed up for decent braking performance though don't they?

I priced some up last time and decided not to go down that route.

The ceramic pads I looked at needed Ceramic discs to work with

Could of been good ......but there again you would need to look at that cost against the cost of going down either the big brakes route or even the veccy conversion route

Default Brakes on my vxr are worse than my cdti!

Vectra vxr brakes would be a good upgrade. Donít they have vented rears too?

AFAIR, you only replace the fronts or most did back in the day with the custom made brackets. The main issue with improving the rears would be stability of the car iirc
