    Default Anyone got one of these

    Anyone ever used one of these ultra gauge obd gauge, does it eliminate the need for a water temp, oil temp, oil pressure and boost gauge

    All those gauges are not really necessary anyway. You can actually access most of the data from the cars hidden menu.

    Canít get oil temp, pressure or boost from secret menu can you? I canít get any of them anyway cos Iíve fitted a different stereo thatís why I want gauges but just want to know how much this obd ultra gauge will tell me

    If the secret menu doesn't show it I doubt that reader will. All it ultimately does is communicate with the ecu to read the data the ecu itself is receiving, something that the secret menu also does. So long story short the source is the same.

    According to the description it does thatís why Iím trying to find out if anyone ACTUALLY has one so they can tell me if it does or not

    163193853381 That’s the item number on eBay mate it’s £99 so it’s not one of the cheaper £5 obd plug ins that tells u a few things

    Hmm. It says 78 "possible" values which is car dependant. As I say I'm not sure if the astra supports oil pressure and temp. Iirc when they fit 3 gauge conversions they have to fit the sensors necessary to get the readings. Not 100% though.

    Looks like a good bit of kit though. I used to have one called a dashhawk. Could do all sorts and even get you power and acceleration runs etc.

    I know mate it does look a good bit of kit I know it does water temp which I need now Iíve changed the radio but just interested to know if it does any of the other stuff Iím after before I get gauges aswel to go in the vent

    Yeah that was 1 thing that always put me off extra gauges was losing vents. I don't wanna sweat my **** off for the sake of a couple of extra dials lol.

    My boost gauge is a dash mount pod in the corner.
