    Default Front suspension help

    Have put new shocks and springs on the front but now when driven it knocked land banged, what have I done wrong?

    Either you have not tightened something up or your top mounts are knackered

    But it could also be as simple as worn out drop links on the the front anti roll bar
    2009 Astra H Vxr arden blue standard for now but with mtc top hat and crossover delete and ramair filter

    Planning to go stage 3/3.5 eventually

    New top mounts so possibly drop links as I didn’t put new ones on.

    Probably is the droplinks then as you have replaced everything else it's probably finding the next weak link

    Booked in now for mot so asked the garage to check it out, too sore now to muck about with it, had cracked ribs for last month or so

    I changed drop links once and had knocking, turned out I hadn't tightened them enough.

    I had a knocking rear end recently that was resolved by changing ARB bushes.

    All sorted, it was the nut at the top of the strut, I forgot to really tighten it, now have a mot and back on the road after 4 months on the drive
    Now to get rid of the damper error light on the dashboard.
