Well I finally got the car to vx dealer,
Had a tech look at it, drive it and then I drove it.
According to the tech guy the clutch click knock type sound when lifting the clutch pedal is normal and he says thereís nothing wrong with the duel mass
The shudder is apparently where Iím changing gear to early in first.
To his credit reving the car out slightly higher in first does stop the wired shudder I get during the gear change.
So apparently I have to build more speed before shifting as thes sensors donít like me changing gear at anything between 1k and 3k rpm🤣
And thereís me thinking I could in any car smoothly change gear at any rpm no matter how low

Sorry but that sounds like the biggest load of bull Iíve ever heard. So now you have to over rev your car before changing gear so it doesnít judder?

Something isnít right and the dealer needs to stop fobbing you off and sort it

The all got a bit edgy that it wasnít the dealer I bought it from who I took it to,
    Just the closest one,
I had to wait 4 week for the opening as I needed a hire car.
Maybe Iíll book it in with the dealer I got it from and see what they say.

I had a play about on my way home from work
I pulled away in first and when I got to 2k used my clutch and two bumps can be felt though the car
Do it before 2k itís not so noticeable
Above 2500k and itís not there
No shifting just pushing in the clutch Pedal only does it in first
I got to be honest guys Iím stumped

From how you describe it, sounds a bit different to the problem described in a document titled,

'14-E-2638: F40 - Knocking noise at load reversal in all gears especially in 2nd and 3rd gear'

if you Google it, but might be worth checking if your engine number was before or after improved clutches were fitted.

I have not seen the clutch for the J VXR close up, but if I have got the part numbers/images right, appears the original part number 55581283 clutch had three damping springs,

    https://allegro.pl/astra-j-iv-opc-vx...614120246.html

    and the improved 55581284 clutch,

    https://www.bildelsbasen.se/se-sv/Op...2/OEM-P664291/

has 6 damping springs, which looking closer at,

    http://img.euroauto.ru/photo/parts/u.../6915013/3.jpg

appear to be double springs, all twelve of which must make a significant difference compared with what would appear to be just three springs in the original clutch friction plate.

Can anyone who has taken a close look at the clutch correct or confirm any of this?

If so do I have a warranty claim as
    Clutches ainít covered
