I suppose. But isn't that the way with all of us who essentially mess with our cars?

It should be mate but unfortunately not everyone works that way

For example the previous plum sack who owned mine all he did was put petrol in it

Had it since may and in that time

It's had a gearbox rebuild with the revised end case and new 4th gear along with a new lower front engine mount and rear gearbox mount done under warranty

Oil and filter, pollen filter, new spark plugs new coil pack

    New gear change cables

    New polybushed subframe fitted

Restored polybushed rear axle, disc guards and rear dampers with new upper and lower spring mounts

New pads and discs all round along with a new NSF caliper thanks to a snapped bleed nipple he kindly left for me along with a full fluid change

    4 new tyres

New rocker gasket and new exhaust manifold gasket

New front flexi welded in the exhaust

And it still needs the stem seals doing along with a new Cambelt and water pump

And that list doesn't include all the other little things i have done or the other things it's needed that I have probably forgot

And he clearely despises 4 pots

What gives adam was you having a midlife crisis when you bought it or what?

Not having a pop adam know you can take it as well as give it and I can respect that

But just trying to understand your motivation for having a vxr?

I don't "despise" anything. I've shown nothing but love for my car. I'm just aware after so many years that it's not the be all and end all of cars and I know it's flaws
