Erm, lol you seem to misunderstand. You don't run different springs in the actuator you run springs in the recirculation valve, different springs for different boost levels.

Actuators will have a certain pressure rating which they open up at, and that is the psi difference you're talking about, but there's no running different springs, you'd need a higher pressure opening actuator.

You can run different springs with some ie forge or turbo smart.

First I've heard of it. I thought they were just rated at a specific pressure and that was that.

I think you can change springs on some of the uprated actuators

Emphasis on the key word though (think)

Sure I remember reading about it somewhere
2009 Astra H Vxr arden blue standard for now but with mtc top hat and crossover delete and ramair filter

Planning to go stage 3/3.5 eventually

10psi on standard turbo even at stage 3 it's the solenoid that controls the boost really, on a hybrid say 12-14psi with the increased back pressure
Stage 2 black VXR gone - rabbid tuned Stage 3 303 sold 9/2014
Now Revo stage 4+ forged Mk2 Focus RS
