    Default Opening up headlights?

Hey guys looking for advice about potentially opening up headlights if anyone can help?

Basically can it be done and how if so

I've got some angel headlights that I'm going to temporarily put in, I prefer original lights though but the artistic side of me wants to colour code some parts inside original headlights , Is it possible or has anybody tried?

    Thankyou

Yeah its been done loads of times.

I don't have a Corsa now so forget the exact details of the light but usually the lens is bonded on, so needs heated up a bit to melt the glue and then peel it off to get at the inners.

    Sure someone will confirm.

The way I've heard of most people doing it is to put them in the oven on a low setting!

Not that I'd be trying it myself

It's very hard job, taht you will open them without damage. I spend 3,5 hours on one headlight, that I open it.

Here are mines costum made: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mve7casIhTU

They are costum builds headlights, mat black inside with red bits, white angel eyes, whiteDRL led strip with sequential turn signal. They also have retrofited 2,5 inch BI-xenon projectors with black shrouds and 6000k canbus HID kit.

Hmmm interesting, they look really cool.

Ok tried fitting angel eyes today and only one side works so need abit of help if any one can please

These side lights that ain't working on one side are LEDS, am I right in thinking that if one bulb goes then all the bulbs wouldnt work? Like Xmas lights? Also does anybody know of a tool that would allow me to check if lights work without plugging into car? I can access all LEDS so I'm thinking of changing each,
This is all presuming the wiring is correct like on the other side.

Plastics like polypropylene and polycarbonate don't melt until about 150°C, so it can be done on a low setting with a lot of care!
