    Default Kw coilovers?

I see they sell two sets for the Vectra vxr.

A set for ids equipped cars which we have, and a set for non ids cars.

The non ids versions are a lot cheaper, now I’ve seen in the past people going and having these fitted and needing the shock absorber light on the dash turning off.

Is that because they were supplied the non ids versions?

Bit confused why there’s two versions at different prices if the light can be turned out.

    Anyone got any ideas, thanks.
It aint about how hard you hit............ its about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward!

More like they replaced the shocks at the same time.
The only reason the light would come on is a fault or removal of shocks.
The coils have no cause or effect to put the dash light on.

The IDS set come with a box to turn off the IDS yourself, which you can do far cheaper with Tech2 or equivalent.

Thanks I think that answers my question as to why they are a couple of hundred more expensive.

Far cheaper as you say to just have someone turn off the shock absorber fault light.

You have ids, they give a box to turn ids off????
When changing coils have no affect on ids!!!!
Is there something I don’t get????

I think you're getting slightly confused Dave's asking about coilovers which are to replace shocks and spring's hence the IDS question

Great choice going for KW btw. On a few cars I've driven with them installed, they were excellent.
