    Because no turbo lag.
Because rwd weight transfer when starting off.

Two or three years ago I drove a 308 GTi 1.6T and because it was a fairly big heavy car with a small engine trying to both move the car and spool a big turbo, the lag was horrible; it sometimes felt like two or three seconds before anything happened.

I also had an e36 328 m sport, Samoa blue, which was really modified. Absolutely loved that car and miss it loads especially after seeing this!
