    Default Noise

    Hi all,
    I can here a werrring type noise hard to explain ha
    Think itís front left jacked car up thereís no play in wheel
    Any ideas ?
    Iím gussing wheel bearing but no play has throw me.

    Trouble is with noises like that they travel.
    Try checking all 4 corners. Might well be coming from a completely different axle!

    I was once told my bearing was fine when I heard a noise. There were no signs and was no play. I was sure it was the bearing though and told them to replace the hub anyway. Noise went for good with the new hub.

    Had a similar thing with my old vectra GSi. Had noise for a good while and even passed an mot. Then one day the bearing let go!

    Was like a rumbling sound from the front passenger side wheel.

    i would check your tyres to see if there feathering, often makes the same noise as a wheel bearing

    Tyres are fine few miles in them yet.
    Iíll just get it changed no pint risking it
