    Default Steam seals

    Hi guys!

I assume plenty of you have already upgraded stem seals to retained ones. Following on from this, has anyone tried z22se seals? They are also used on z20net, a(b)20nft and many more. Their construction seems to be almost identical as those sold as "z20lex with retainers" ones.

    Has anybody any experience?

From reading this Percy stated he'd tried all the other GM engine seals?

I mean it seems a pretty pointless thing anyway. If you have tailor made uprated seals to fit which work perfectly well why bother looking elsewhere.

If it ain't broke don't fix it!!

You got it right mate. But when u face that ridiculous situation of shipping cost being higher than stuff u buying itself, u search for alternatives

I wish i could mate. Here in Poland opel/vaux mod scene is almost completely dead. All u r able to buy is an oem part. All te rest have to be imported from abroad (UK - mostly, maybe Germany).

That surprises me tbh. I had Poland down as very opel orientated. I got my cid and cd70 from there, and it was the only place really that had lots for sale.

You got it right when it comes to used parts. There are plenty of them on our market. But if u plannig to buy something extra/non-oem u actually going to import it.

I'd have put money on it that there'd be opel tuners in Poland.
