    The hard part is getting to the chains easy part is the chains. But for the best answers put up a new thread to sir Nick150 for his advice as he is the god.....lol, good luck.

    Nick150 did mine, engine remained in the car and the new chains he sourced from GM in the USA are a lot stronger than the original.

    Not sure what Nick charges these days, but mine was about £1200 including the parts and a new oil pump.

    Just get nick150 to do them £1500 all in that includes chains/guides/pulleys and a new oil pump fitted he also uses the later uprated kit... My vxr is now sweet as a nut after having them done by sir nick
