    Default V chains !!!!

Sat at V dropping in her mobility car for pads thought I’d ask how much to do chains. I know mine need doing some time.
There not sure as of the age of car that they’re be able to do them as they wouldn’t have tools to do it they’d have to check

Reckon with Main Dealer prices it would be very expensive even if they found some tools lol. With your knowledge Jon reckon you could do them yourself.

I did my own, it's not bad with care and the right tools.

Nick assisted with sourcing the chain parts for me. I bought the tooling and piston gauge to measure TDC etc but donated them to Nick when I was done so that he can keep saving the cars.

    Was going to pm you.
V said they’d take the lump out to do it said no in the car, don’t think he liked that.
Can you list up extra tools that you bought for us.

I'll have to try and find where I bought them from again... Let me take a look and I'll get back to you.

Easy enough with the lump in place as it says in TIS. No need for engine out, it just needs supporting when you take the mount off
