2nd on cold starts

Morning fellas,

So I've been noticing on a cold start in the morning, my second gear feels rough as nails.. almost like it wants to crunch in. I'm quite delicate with the shift in the morn and in general really.

Thing I don't get, is, once the cars been running for about 5 mins, it's silky smooth again.

For an m32, it is really nice and smooth any other time.

Think a gearbox oil change will rectify?

I changed my gearbox oil not so long ago and still mine is stiff to get in gear on really cold morning.

Oil does take longer to warm up, possibility is that the synchro on 2nd is on the way out and shows itself when cold?

I think i'll do the oil change anyway, because it can't do any harm. If problem persists, which seems likely, what's the best course of action?

Anything I can be doing in the mean time to prevent further wear? Grinds my gears, to be hearing my gears grinding ha!

Fully depress clutch, don't force it in (giggity), and just have mechanical sympathy. No racing like a little chav.
