    Default Rear tow eye

Hi all, noticed the cap has come off and I'm genuinely stuck how to pop it back in. I can tell the lip bit goes on the bottom and I'd assume you just push to clip back in but it's not going in flush. Is there a knack to putting it in?

Cheers mate, I suspect it's got something wrong with it as there's just be a reason why it's simply dropped out. I've put it back in now but its definitely not seated correctly as it's not flush. Might have to order a new one

It can be easily bent if I remember, but I also remember when I took mine out to wrap it being fiddly to put back in, I'll check mine in 5 mins when I go out

That would be fantastic mate cheers. I can get a new one but if I could get a photo of yours just so I can check if mine looks ok that would be great

pretty straight forward mate , yours may be more awkward because still has plastic bit on that stops it from being fully removed .

Cheers mate that's very helpful, clicks in nice which mine doesn't at all. I'll try removing the plastic tie on tonight to see if that's getting in the way but suspect it must have been bent at some point to make it just fall out yesterday?

Maybe mate definitely shouldnt just fall out. Maybe bend it a little if feels out of shape or Like you say it's cheap to buy replacement so not too bad if you need one
