    Default Boost problem

Hi all I'm hoping someone can help I've got a problem with my vxr it was on the dyno today and for some reason the boost tails out quicker than the standard turbo the car is running a k06 turbo with cut back blades, cross over deleted with aem filter, stage 2 airtec intercooler, top hat and boost pipe, 2.5 turbo back and it only made 260hp and 300ft but the other problem I live in the isle of man so there is only one person on the island that has a dyno.

My money is on a worn out actuator unless it was replaced when you had all the work done

Even the it could be poorly adjusted get a mityvac on it

10psi is the standard break off pressure but that's for a standard car

Also that exhaust will hold you back a little if your aiming for big power
2009 Astra H Vxr arden blue standard for now but with mtc top hat and crossover delete and ramair filter

Planning to go stage 3/3.5 eventually

Turbosmart 10psi actuator and recirc are about 3 months old and the 2.5" shouldn't hold back that much

Maybe you're getting valve float? A hybrid will sometimes do so with standard valve springs.

Still doesn't necessarily mean you're not getting valve float. Every car is different. If all is fine with your turbo system it may be throttle closure. Any warning lights? Codes?

24psi is a bit high. Unless it's a temporary over boost spike. There's obviously something in the setup the ecu isn't liking if its shutting off the boost.
