    Default VXR limp mode with new exhaust?

    Just installed my 3” turbo back straight pipe, unbelievable but when I flatten it and go over 4K revs it jumps into limp mode, I have a delfi laptop and removed the codes but soon as you hit 4-5k it does it again, how can I fully remove the code? Code is emmicions for obvious reasons

    I said yesterday you will get engine light on if removing the car the car thinks it’s got a car but without it will be running either very lean or very rich u need it mapping if your gonna run without a cat

    Try the spacer mentioned above and put it in the last lambda under the floor of the car.

    The eml light may come on again though (mine did with spacer and sports cat) so you might need to try packing it with wire wool as well if that happens.

    TBH you'd be better flogging the exhaust and just putting the money to a stage 1 remap - you won't have any hassle with spacers/mots, badly fitting aftermarket parts and it'll be arguable as fast real world world driving vs a full stage 3.

    Its just not worth spending thousands to squeeze an extra 20-30 out of the car, especially if its rusting away in front of you.

    Have you tried packing the spacer with wire wool?
