    Default Gearbox

Hi guys new to the forum.

I'm going to look at an Astra j vxr at the weekend. It's on a 62 plate and I was wondering if anyone knows what box is in the 2012 plate vxr. I've heard that the earlier ones had an M32 Hoping this isn't the case and it's an F40

    Any help is appreciated

    Nick

Ah... Only reason I ask is there's a recent post on here think it was called mtec shortshift where a guy had had an M32 box swapped out for an F40

As JamieArdenVXR stated, they all come with a F40 gearbox, the F40CR version,

but few owners can seem to resist modifying them . . .
