    Default Removing double din

Does anyone have any experiance removing head units? My reverse camera has stopped working, so I'm wanting to test continuity of the wires before forking out £70 for a new camera. I've put the radio keys in (think they're the right ones) put it feels like it's held in by something else. Wanting to remove the plastic trimming around the centre console if anyone has any guides on how to do it?
    Cheers

I have removed the surrounding area when fitting boost gauge and doing smd conversation etc mate.

Stereo must be removed first though and yours looks different, it looks like you need to remove the two screws at either side as they ain't there on original surround. Then maybe your stereo will all come out

Yeah it's an aftermarket pioneer unit that was installed by previous owner.
Not actually sure the radio keys are correct as i bought them off ebay!!
Them two screws on the side don't actually come out all the way as thr head is stopped by the plastic moulding around them which is strange, might have to take it to a professional and pay the price

It will come out mate, it’s just those two slides down the sides are like chocolate and bend easy, push them alll the way in and try gently with a small flat head and pry the sides out, gently tho and it will come out. Iv has mine out a million times doing a full install, boot build ect
