    Default Back to a vxr!

    Hello everyone!

Been a few years since I’ve been on here sold my arctic back in 2012!

Anyways, after owning a few nice cars, just bought a house with the missus and we’re completely ripping it apart and starting again and the missus is changing jobs so loses her company car! We’re after a “cheaper” car for a while just while we finish the house and I’ve convinced her to look at a few Vxr’s! Is there any new problems come up since when I owned one? I know the p4 issue, wheel bearing on the rear and the gearbox wasn’t great haha

Just after things to look for when viewing as once the house is done I’m hoping to keep it and maybe do a few track days in eventually!

    Thanks

I think you've hit the nail on the head with the main known issues. The only thing I can think of is perhaps corrosion (age dependant), and maybe the ABS module fault, easily diagnosed by braking hard and seeing if the car pulls to the right during braking.
