Boot won't open

The boot will not open at all...all the other doors open fine....any ideas whata gone wrong the boot latch knackered i thought maybe.

Would this be the solenoid? can the boot be opened from inside once the rubber plugged is removed and turned witha screwdriver?

This happened to my last car which was an astra design, the rear electrical box went. or it could be fuse.

Central locking seems to working fine but the boot.....no noise coming from boot once key is pressed.

as above if the windscreen washers do not work either then it's fuse number 8 (red 10A mini blade) under the bonnet if i recall correctly....

The windscreen washer pump has packed up as well....checked the fuse for the pump and its blown.

when windscreen washers go pop so dose the boot
just a mini fuse to fix it 27p DIY dead easy

this is common in the cold. I herd from vauxhall that it freezes then pops the fuse because it doesnt come out or something. person said leave 5 min before using the pump when its freezing cold

So the the chances are that when i replace the blown fuse for the washer pump then the boot will open when the key is pressed.
