On the road, there is no defined limit.. but you could be pulled if playing in an anti-social way (i.e. revving the nuts outside your neighbours house)

On a track day, usually 95dB, some tracks have hi-limit days which is 100 - 105

I was told it was 88.

BTW i was charge with a previous exhaust and had to remove it.

Theres a law about fitting an aftermarket exhaust which increases the noise from factory.

Was up in court 5 times for it and in the end gave in and removed the exhaust and put a standard one back on...

The legal limit across the UK is 101dba measured at between 2/3 and 3/4 maximum revs under load apparently as per the sva.

You could no doubt be done for noise pollution at lower levels in the right circumstances.

whats the difference between dba and dB?

I think its huge because 105 dB is instant deafness.

Truth be known I have no idea

I looked it up a few months back and remember the info, wasn't really helpful to me in any way.

Thats what I've always taken it as, don't know if there is any difference between db and dba.
