  • Cam Belt

I thought that at 4 years or 40k the cam belt needed replacing, but have been told its 8 years or 80k. I looked in my service schedule and this seems to be the case.
My car is 4 years old with 21k....
At what intervals are you guys doing them/ planning to do them?

      The schedule was changed in 2004 from 4 years/40k to 6 years/60k.

I'm doing mine next year at 5 years just to be safe

Iv always known it to be 80k even though in my eyes as well as most others that's far to long!

Mines 4 yrs old ad around 40k and I will be doing mine sooner rather than later

I would agree that about 60k is the max I would let it go to
