help please with these fault codes

  • help please with these fault codes

    61450..and 61600 i aint got a clue as to what they are..the car is running fine just came back from the metro center with the G,F and son..so was driving calm . when about 10/15 mins from home the engine manegment light came on..so done the pedle test..which had these on also my code for my cat .

    any help as to what they mean would be great .

      yeah been in there ian! as was the first place i looked..but still aint any more the wise as to what they mean

        Put a P and a 0 in front of them and ignore the last couple of digits

        So P0614 and P0616 - you will find it in the list

            Maybe these then lol

            P1614 Wrong transponder key error (the chip is still in the key?)
            P1614 Wrong transponder immobiliser key B-006
            P1614 immobilizer anti-theft wrong signal B-008
            P1615 ECM (engine control unit) Identification failed Immobilizer B-006
            P1616 CIM (Steering Column module) wrong environment indicator Immobilizer B-006
            Replace P1620 controller error

              iv went out got the whole code as it reads...161450....161600....042011 there the 3 codes i have..iknow the last 1 is my cat..but that came up the first week i bought the piper just the first two im unsure of

                hmmm this might have some thing to do with the (CIM) just being replaced !

                look's like another trip to the dealer's

                  his guy has the same problem as me and people hace said it is the (CIM) iv just had it fixed last week oh well another trip it is to the garage then

                    disconnect the the battery over night paul.. then see if they reapear..

                      As Brett has said do the battery trick as the codes might just not have been cleared after they fixed the CIM or something, see if they come back and then take dealers if it does

                          but if the problem was fixed..why would the enginelight come on? i thought it only came on when a new fault occured ?
