How do you remove the rear diffuser on the astra to get it sprayed, without damaging it? Looked underneath and can see loads of clips, but they won't budge, and i don't want to damage anything. Do you also have to remove the numberplate?

mate its soooooo easy if you just take your time with it. i've taken off and fitted astra diffuser probs about 10-15 times now. just take the plate off, and start prising the clips away just gently but wiggling the diffuser side to side if you can, as soon as you get it going it comes off easily.
as said getting it back on, i've found, can be a lot trickier than getting it off
just be patient

Its quite easy to come off, I just used my hands up the back and prissed it away best i could. When fitting it again remember and jet wash round where the clips go to make it easier and also a wee bit of grease on each clip will make it a hell of a lot easierAs getting it on is the hard bit.

a lot of people say its easyer to take the whole bumper off but i dont know where to start if someone could tell me where all the screws are i would appreciate it and photos would be even better. as people have said its putting the diffuser back on that is the tricky bit as i have found.sigpic
