My Scorpion is on the way ! What about turbo clamp ?

Hello,

My turbo back Scorpion is on the way ! I would like to use a brand new turbo clamp but I can't source locally the original Vauxhall but only generic 3" V-Band Clamps like this:

That's what mine looked like apart from it had a spring on the thread bit. Tension spring I believe.
Why can't you source an original vx one?

It was off once when changed turbo.
I can't source locally because not living in UK now.

So, will it matter the loading spring ?

same for me i dont chaung them unless needed

depends which garage takes it off and if they take it off with care.. mine was bent to hell so i bought one from mattbibs..
